Site Rules

  • Public access may be restricted to specific areas of the site if there are events taking place and may be restricted completely if these events are significant and if they might place visitors at risk.
  • Parking should be on/in designated hard-standing or parking areas.
  • Walking and running on paths or grass is fine.
  • Casual cycling and even in-line skating on the paths (not the grass) are also permitted. However, swimming and cycle race training are not permitted other than as part of an organised event.
  • Dogs are as welcome as their owners but please control them near the roads.
  • Please also clean up after them for health and safety reasons and remove any mess.
  • Please do not drop litter but take it with you.
  • Barbecues are not permitted, partly for safety and partly because chemical run-off can affect ground and water.
  • Fishing is not permitted.
  • Please enjoy the site quietly.
